We are Petra and Maikel.

Moving to Spain and building a life here had been our dream for more than 25 years. With our own business in the Netherlands, a busy and enjoyable social life, family, friends, and above all our two wonderful sons, we always postponed taking the leap.

Everything changed in 2017. We sold our company in the Netherlands, and at the same time Petra's father, who owned a holiday rental business in Spain, was ready to retire. The timing was perfect, and we decided to take over Ka Re Costa Blanca Holiday Homes, managing and renting out around 60 properties on behalf of their owners.

Inspired by the experiences and wishes of our guests, we dreamed of creating a place of our own, where we could offer hospitality in our own way. We found a beautiful finca on the edge of the vibrant coastal town of Santa Pola, situated on a unique piece of land. Here, we transformed an old stable into a charming casita and created a stylish hotel suite, allowing our guests to truly experience and enjoy the Spanish lifestyle.
